A letter from OneTaste CEO Anjuli Ayer
Legal action is rarely the preferred remedy for disagreements. It has been with the utmost consideration that I, Anjuli Ayer, OneTaste’s CEO, have decided to bring proceedings.
I grew up in a family with Indian Hindu ancestry and so the Bhagavad Gita, the primary Hindu text, was a big part of my upbringing. Since purchasing OneTaste from Nicole Daedone in 2017, I have taken many lessons from its stories, but none have been as prescient as the story of Arjuna. A skilled warrior and prince, Arjuna finds himself in a crisis on the battlefield of Kurukshetra where he must fight against his own relatives, friends, and teachers. Overwhelmed by doubt and sorrow, he questions the morality of the war and the consequences of opposing his loved ones. Seeking guidance, he turns to his charioteer, Krishna, who helps him see his responsibilities and the importance of fulfilling his role as a warrior and protector. With Krishna’s counsel, Arjuna gains the clarity and determination to carry out his duty, understanding that he must act according to his role and responsibilities, regardless of the personal cost.
OneTaste and its associated companies and individuals have been fiercely defending themselves against all false claims made in the media and alleged by the US government. We back our defense with solid evidence, including emails, text message exchanges, and personal declarations that reveal the true facts. These arguments and evidence are available in the hyperlinks below. We will continue to publish necessary information to completely dismantle these baseless accusations and set the record straight.
